This in my opinion, has to be one of the best chelsea videos I have ever seen. Completely captured the kaleidoscope of emotions that was the 2010/2011 season.

Amazing video. Have you seen last game against MU? I only managed to watch highlights. Tevez’s miss and Cole’s save will be in this season’s video, that’s for sure!
You have fairly easy opponent this Saturday – so good luck on Stamford Bridge!

Yeah, I saw the match. I must say it is the first match of Chelsea’s I have watched in a while that we have lost and I didn’t feel depressed. In fact I felt really optimistic. We matched Man U in the game and for large periods outplayed them. It was a match that could literally have gone in any direction, unfortunately lady luck seemed to be wearing red on the day. Looking forward to the match at Stamford Bridge
Thanks for the good luck
Shame, I haven’t seen it, but I saw Ferguson’s interview and he said that there was a lot of mistakes and that’s what makes the match exciting. It’s hard to disagree. I think luck doesn’t mean that much and is not very visible in football. In my opinion it’s more about being able to take opportunities to score and create them, it’s about waiting for that mistakes.
I remember Youzhny vs. Cilic match from this year Hamburg tournament quarterfinal. In this case lady luck was wearing fury Ushanka – have a look http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BN3PQfexgdM&feature=relmfu, it starts at 1:30
I don’t know if you know what I mean, but I am more likely to say that Rooney or Torres were not good enough to score rather than they had bad luck. I cannot think about situation in football where you can say without doubts ‘it was lucky’, you can always blame the defender or goalkeeper. In tennis for example there is always small margin for dodgy points like that one, unless one can learn how to score them
But hey, you never know – maybe it’s luck what decides, maybe skills or maybe bit of both? Maybe Youzhny was just rewarded for playing more aggressively. At the end it’s people who decide how to judge things. Thanks for your post – I just found out that possible presence of that mysterious lady in sport is very interesting topic.
Anyway it’s just my point of view – nothing personal
Peace !
